SPRING HOPE

Hope is the pup I kept out of the first breeding of Reece to Laura Hicks' great dog Jag. And yes, the name is somewhat symbolic. It comes from Jeremiah 29, verse 11.
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Hope reminds me a lot of Jag. She is a big outrunner with a lot of scope and is great at spotting sheep. She has great feel for stock and clean, open flanks. We have been an easy fit, and she began trialing at a young age with success in Nursery. She is my current Open dog and I look forward to seeing many trials with her and hopefully more success as well!

Hope is also one of my main work dogs on the ranch and has been used some with cattle as well as sheep. In fact, I think she might just prefer cattle to sheep.
Hope has a big heart and a fearless attitude, and I am really enjoying our partnership!
